Ebay is a wonderful thing. I picked up these front and rear seats, plus console, from a 2002 Cadillac Seville. I wanted buckets with integrated seat belts because by 56 does not have a center post for a 3 point seat belt mount. These are power, with heat, memory, and lumbar. Pretty cool, except for one thing - the do not tilt. Did not think of this when I bought them, guess I will have to slide them foreward to get into the rear seat! I also have the shifter which will work with the 700R4 that I'm putting in.
Here's the upper portion of the back seat. I stripped off the leather cover (held in by hogs rings), then removed the arm rest and then the foam. Use a die grinder to remove the seat belts, they are too long for the 56. Once done, I took the bare frame and bent the upper protion flat. You can see the initial test fit. The factory hooks are the right hight but need to be moved to better support the frame on either end.
